Dear KTCT supporters,
On behalf of the Trustees of The Mud House Children’s Foundation and the Maasai community, I would like to sincerely thank KTCT’s supporters for your generous donation. Today Maasai women walk over 2 miles, on a daily basis, to collect water with heavy containers on their backs from a government standpipe. Unfortunately, severe drought in this area has further exacerbated the situation and the government is now restricting their access to the actual water supply, which means they often return empty-handed. By piping water to the Maasai village of Lopolun we will enable them to directly access water and fill their water reserve tanks. There is no doubt that this will improve their lives and save the lives of many of their animals.
