Thanks from Patmos Junior School

I would be grateful if you would kindly pass this email on to Mr Humphrys and to the other members of your Board so that they might also read about the progress this school is making despite tremendous difficulties.   As I always say, we are very mindful of the fact that it was the kind grant of £3,000 which KTCT made available to the school back in 2011 which helped to kick start  the Maize Farm Project which is now providing a lot of the food for the School Feeding Programme.
Only recently, as you will read in the Newsletter, the children received a health check by a local doctor and he commented that the children were for the most part in good health.  In his opinion he felt that the provision by the school of a daily breakfast of porridge and a meal of maize and beans was a significant contributory factor in this improvement in the children’s health.
