Update from Bunambotye primary school, Uganda

Today's pictorials are from the water tank commissioning at Bunambotye primary school in Bulumbuli district where we donated a 10000 Litre rain harvest water tank with the support of Kitchen Table Charities Trust (KTCT) . We believe in a world where everyone has safe drinking water, forever. We partner with local governments, businesses, and individuals, providing the support they need to bring clean water and sanitation systems to their own communities. Then we ensure they have the resources they need to maintain those systems now and in the future. The local government provides the structure. The local shop owner provides…

Thanks for EduSpots – Ghana

EduSpots, a small charity catalysing quality learning opportunities across rural Ghana through a network of local volunteers, is absolutely thrilled with the support from KTCT to improve the conditions of our community-owned and led library education centres called ‘Spots’. Spots enable underserved children to access books, resources, lessons, clubs, and homework support to raise educational aspirations. The £6,000 grant will support ten Spots desperately in need of chairs, tables, bookshelves, and essential repairs to continue supporting children to access educational opportunities. Most children in the communities we work with do not have a quiet space to study with light or…

Thanks from Niva Primary School in Arua City, Uganda

Greetings from sunny and hot Arua city. Words can’t express my gratitude for the help KTCT has given me. Renovating the classrooms at Niva Primary School was looking impossible until I contacted KTCT’s Chairperson. The response to my request was prompt and this has made it possible at last to put a facelift to a 25-year-old classroom block. This will put a smile on the faces of the children of the lower classes who use the classrooms. KTCT continues with your work of stimulating the learning environment. We sincerely acknowledge the kindness and love shown by your supporters which inspires…
